About Jared
Jared Fears served the church on the Mission Funding Team since 1993 and
retired as Director of that team in 2021. He continues to serve in a contractual
role assisting the Presiding Bishopric in a number of areas including Estate
Planning.
Jared is a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner™ and also currently is a
member of the Independence City Council since 2022. He and his wife Denise
live in Independence. They have three children and two grandchildren.
