The climate crisis is one of the defining moral challenges of our time—and the North American Climate Justice Team is responding with faithful, Spirit-led action.
A Spirit-Led Beginning
Born out of conversations at the 2019 World Conference, this volunteer team united around a shared commitment to creation care and a deep desire to act faithfully and urgently in response to the climate crisis.
What We Do: Education, Advocacy, and Action
The team focuses on three key areas:
- Raising Awareness through trusted media and grassroots organizations
- Supporting Climate Justice with humanitarian aid and advocacy efforts
- Encouraging Action via petitions, tree planting, and carbon reduction initiatives
Rich Educational Resources
Thanks to the Greater Pacific Northwest Mission Center, the team offers an extensive library of climate crisis resources. With over four years of sessions featuring climate scientists and experts, these resources provide valuable insights on the broad and complex issues shaping the climate emergency. Past sessions are available anytime in the Archive Tab on their website.
